University of Cyprus also a “Hub” for the President of the Eurogroup - Mr. Paschal Donohoe was impressed by the infrastructure that accommodates thousands of young people in Cyprus every day.

The President of the Eurogroup, Mr. Paschal Donohoe, visited the University of Cyprus on Thursday, July 22th, 2021. The Rector of the University of Cyprus, Professor Tasos Christofides, welcomed the President of the Eurogroup and the Ambassador of Ireland to Cyprus and their delegations to the University Campus together with the Minister of Finance, Mr. Konstantinos Petridis academics, students, were guided to its facilities.

The Cyprus Institute: Visit to the Cyprus Institute by the Minister of Finance, Mr Constantinos Petrides

On Tuesday, 20th of July 2021, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Constantinos Petrides, the Permanent Secretary of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Dr Stelios Chimonas, the Chief Scientist of Research and Innovation of the Republic of Cyprus, Dr Nikolas Mastroyiannopoulos, along with the Director General of the Research and Innovation Foundation, Mr. Theodoros Loukaides, and the Press Officer of the Ministry of Finance and Minister’s Associate, Mrs. Andri Kounnou, visited CyI’s premises in Athalassa to discuss how to reinforce the existing collaboration, as well as possible new areas of cooperation.
