Integration of migrants: Commission launches a public consultation and call for an expert group on the views of migrants

The Commission launched an EU-wide public consultation to gather views on new actions that could be taken at EU level to promote the integration and social inclusion of migrants and people with a migrant background. The Commission also launched a call for applications to set up an expert group composed of persons with a migrant background to participate in the development and implementation of migration, asylum and integration policies.

Cybersecurity: Commission report details policies and skills needed for a more secure digital society

The Joint Research Centre (JRC), the Commission's science and knowledge hub, has issued a report on ‘Cybersecurity - our Digital anchor. A European perspective'. It looks at the growth of cybersecurity over the last 40 years and identifies where the EU could improve in this field, for the benefit of businesses and citizens.
