A strategic cooperation between the Athens University of Economics and Business and @iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development) non-profit journalism organisation has been launched, aiming at the exchange of expertise, the establishment of partnerships focusing on various research and academic issues and the dissemination of results and knowledge to society.
Funded by the Ministry of Energy the findings of the study by the Department of Engineering of the University of Nicosia on air pollution from electricity generation and transport appeared in the prestigious journal of Energy.

Prof. Stéphanie Laulhé Shaelou, Professor of European Law and Reform and Head of the School of Law of the University of Central Lancashire in Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus), Sherpa Project Consortium Partner, has received a fellowship at the Law Department of the prestigious European University Institute (EUI) for a research project entitled ‘‘Digital Life’ in times of crisis: the tale of the Rule of Law in the European digital public legal order’, to be conducted at the EUI over the Summer 2021.
