The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) participates with a research team at the European Project "SAVE - Screening for Abuse Victims Among Elderly"

The Research Team of the Department of Nursing of the Cyprus University of Technology, coordinated by Associate Professor Dr. Evridiki Papastavrou, participates in the European Project "SAVE - Screening for Abuse Victims Among Elderly", which is funded under the Erasmus+ programme.

The purpose of the project is to improve the methods of identification and invervention of cases of abuse of elderly people in health care and social care facilities.

The scientific team consists of Dr. Evridiki Papastavrou Associate Professor, Department of Nursing, Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), Dr. Elena Rousou and Dr. Theologia Tsitsi, Department of Nursing, CUT, Elena Nikolaidou MA, BSc, CN, RGN and Paraskevi Charitou MSc, BSc, CN, RGN, Nursing Officers of the State Health Services Organisation

To Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου συμμετέχει με ερευνητική ομάδα  στο Ευρωπαϊκό Project “SAVE – Screening for  Abuse Victims Among Elderly”

Ερευνητική ομάδα του Τμήματος Νοσηλευτικής του Τεχνολογικού Πανεπιστημίου  Κύπρου, με συντονίστρια την Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Δρ Ευρυδίκη Παπασταύρου, συμμετέχει στο Ευρωπαϊκό Πρόγραμμα “SAVE – Screening for  Abuse Victims Among Elderly”, το οποίο χρηματοδοτείται από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+. 

Σκοπός του προγράμματος είναι η βελτίωση των μεθόδων αναγνώρισης και παρέμβασης των  περιστατικών κακοποίησης ηλικιωμένων ατόμων στους χώρους παροχής φροντίδας υγείας και κοινωνικής φροντίδας.  

Η επιστημονική ομάδα απαρτίζεται από τη Δρ. Ευρυδίκη Παπασταύρου Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια, Τμήμα Νοσηλευτικής, ΤΕΠΑΚ, Δρ. Έλενα Ρούσου και Δρ. Θεολογία Τσίτση  Τμήμα Νοσηλευτικής, ΤΕΠΑΚ,  Έλενα Νικολαΐδου MA, BSc,  CN, RGN και  Παρασκευή Χαρίτου  ΜSc, BSc, CN, RGN, Νοσηλευτικοί Λειτουργοί της Υπηρεσίας Κατ΄ Οίκον Νοσηλείας ΟΚΥπΥ.
