Cyprus University of Technology (CUT): Digitisation of the Panagia Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery by the Laboratory of Digital Heritage Research Laboratory of CUT

In a terrific event, which took place on the premises of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) in Limassol, on Friday, April 8, 2022 and in an emotional atmosphere of representatives of the Church of Cyprus and the University, the study of pilot recording and documentation of the building complex of the Panagia Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery, founded in 1152 AD, was handed over to the Holy Diocese of Paphos. The monastery is considered an important monument of world cultural heritage.

The Cyprus Institute: Record Participation for “sCYence Fair 2022”, CyI’s Annual Science Festival

An unprecedented number of 60 student teams comprised of students at all levels from 50 schools across the private and public sector in Cyprus, including 3 schools from abroad (Italy, Greece and the Czech Republic) attending virtually, participated in the ‘sCYence Fair 2022’ Science Festival, co-organised by The Cyprus Institute (CyI) and Aglantzia Municipality

The Cyprus Institute (CyI): Visit by the Ambassador of Austria to Cyprus, Mrs. Dorothea Auer, to CyI

On Wednesday, 20th of April 2022, the Ambassador of Austria to Cyprus, H.E. Mrs. Dorothea Auer, visited The Cyprus Institute's premises in Aglantzia, and was given a guided tour of CyI campus and Institute’s laboratories, including Graduate School, Visualisation and Imaging Lab, and Andreas Pittas Art Characterization (APAC) Laboratories.
