The recipients of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Individual Fellowships (IF) grants have been announced by the European Commission. The Council adopted a regulation establishing the Recovery and Resilience Facility, which lies at the heart of the EU’s recovery plan. The European Commission is preparing a comprehensive cross-sectoral EU algae initiative. The aim of the initiative is to increase the sustainable production, consumption and use of algae and algae-based products.
The Commission has launched a public consultation on aspects of methane emissions in the energy sector. The objective of this 12-week consultation is to feed into the Commission preparation of proposals for new EU legislation to further reduce methane emissions in the energy sector, due to be tabled later this year, as outlined in the Commission’s EU methane strategy, published in October 2020.
