COMMISSION LAUNCHES EUROPEAN INNOVATION COUNCIL TO HELP TURN SCIENTIFIC IDEAS INTO BREAKTHROUGH INNOVATIONS

The Council adopted on 16 March its first reading position on Horizon Europe, the EU’s multiannual framework programme for research and innovation for the years 2021 to 2027 ( “the programme”).

COMMISSION WELCOMES PROVISIONAL POLITICAL AGREEMENT ON NEW €1 BILLION PACKAGE TO FINANCE CUSTOMS CONTROL EQUIPMENT IN EU MEMBER STATES

The Commission welcomed the provisional political agreement reached on 16 March by the European Parliament and EU Member States on the new Customs Control Equipment Instrument for 2021-2027
