The Rector of European University Cyprus, Professor Kostas Gouliamos, accepting the invitation of the President of Lanzhou City University/China, Professor Xuejun Wang, was one of the keynote speakers at the online International Conference of the World “University Alliance for the Belt & Road Initiative”.
A three-day Online International Conference was co-organised by the Open University of Cyprus, in the context of the research project “Mapping Crisis Theatre on the Contemporary European Stage”, and the Buffer Fringe Performing Arts Festival on December 4-6, 2020.

Τhe third lecture of the research webinar of the School of Information Sciences and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) took place on December 7, 2020. The webinar aimed assessing the details of a nation-wide COVID-19 screening protocol for travelers to Greece designed by the AUEB.
In the webinar that took place on the 1st of December, the speakers, Professor Constantia Alexandrou, Institute Professor at the Cyprus Institute and the Acting Director of CaSToRC since 2010 and Simone Bacchio, Computational Scientist at CaSToRC of the Cyprus Institute, had the opportunity to overview the main activities of the High Performance Computing Competence Centre of Cyprus. The HPCC centre is being developed by the Computation-based Science and Technology Research Centre (CaSToRC) of the Cyprus Institute, within the European network EuroCC.
