The Cyprus Institute: Project PRIMA REACT4MED Kickstarts Extensive Agro-ecosystem Restoration Actions for the Mediterranean
The PRIMA REACT4MED Project, entitled "Inclusive Outscaling of Agro-ecosystem Restoration ACTions of the Mediterranean", brings together an interdisciplinary team of researchers and professionals working to enhance Sustainable Land and Water Management to improve the livelihoods of Mediterranean communities. The REACT4MED Project, funded by the PRIMA Programme, consists of 11 partners (Universities, research institutes, and an Information Technology Company) from countries cooperating with PRIMA (Greece, Italy, Germany, Cyprus, Israel, Spain, Morocco, Turkey, and Egypt).

Cyprus University of Technology: Proposals from over 300 researchers to improve the effects of the Common Agricultural Policy on biodiversity
As part of an analysis of the future of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) which will be implemented during the period 2023-2027, more than 300 experts from 23 EU Member States analysed the expected effects of the policy on biodiversity conservation.

The Future Earth MENA Regional Center (FEMRC) and The Cyprus Institute (CyI) were actively participating in a hybrid conference on Sustainability Research + Innovation 2022 (SRI2022) took place in Johannesburg, South Africa from June 19-24, 2022. This is the second such conference organized under the auspices of the Belmont Forum and Future Earth.

MILI (EXCELLENCE/0421/0188) is a research project co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Cyprus through the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF). The MILI project started in June 2022 with a total duration of 24 months and a total budget of 249,900.00 euros.
