The Open University of Cyprus (OUC) is involved as a partner in the research project "Innovations in Water Education: Enhancing Water Security and Socio-economic Development in the Eastern Mediterranean under Climate Change" (acronym: WaSec), which is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.
The Undergraduate Programme "Studies in Hellenic Culture" of the Open University of Cyprus (OUC), led by Associate Professor Georgios Deligiannakis, in collaboration with the Society of Messenian Archaeological Studies (under the direction of Professor Emeritus Petros Themelis) carried out a systematic excavation in ancient Messene in two seasons in 2020 and 2021. The excavation took place on the site of a large building, an Early Byzantine Church lying east of the Asclepius complex. This building, although always visible, had never been excavated.
As part of the offer of specialised expertise services, the Laboratory of Respiratory Physiology of the Medical School of the University of Cyprus cooperates with the Office of Safety and Health of Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture, for the implementation of a pilot school cleaning programme.
The Department of Nursing (*) of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) announces the implementation of the pilot programme of mixed learning for nurses and nursing students, on Literacy and digital Health Literacy, within the European programme ERAS2US + eL -1-CY01-KA202-065962) "Enhancement of Digital Health Literacy Training Skills for Nurses Working with the Elderly".
Ways of cooperation between the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and the German Embassy in Cyprus in areas of common interest were discussed during the visit of the German Ambassador, Mrs. Anke Schlimm, to CUT on Monday, January 24th.
