Cyprus University of Technology: Final event of the STEAM project on June 28
The final event of the STEAM project will take place on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, which will take place in the large amphitheater of the CUT Tassos Papadopoulos Building, from 18:00 to 21:00 p.m.
The presence of the Acting Permanent Secretary of the Shipping Deputy Ministry, Ms. Eliana Charalambous, will be important.
The final event includes presentations from all STEAM partners that summarise significant results, improvements and achievements of the project.
STEAM (Sea traffic Management at the Eastern Mediterranean) is a three-year project that started in January 2019 with a budget of about 1 million euros. The project is coordinated by the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) with the Swedish Research Institutes (RISE) participating in the project as a foreign research organisation. In addition, the STEAM consortium consists of the Cyprus Port Authority, the Cyprus Shipping Association (CSA) and the private companies Tototheo Maritime, AT DeLevant Business Solutions and Cyprus Subsea Consulting and Services.
Also very important is the participation of established bodies of the Cypriot shipping sector, such as the Cyprus Maritime Chamber, the Eastern Mediterranean Maritime Institute (Mar.In.EM) and the private companies that currently manage the terminal operations at the port of W Limass Lim: D D , EUROGATE Limassol Container Terminal and P&O Maritime.

Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου: Τελική εκδήλωση του έργου STEAM στις 28 Ιουνίου
Πραγματοποιείται την Τρίτη, 28 Ιουνίου 2022, η τελική εκδήλωση του έργου STEAM η οποία θα λάβει χώρα στο μεγάλο αμφιθέατρο του κτηρίου «Τάσος Παπαδόπουλος» στο Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιιστήμιο Κύπρου(ΤΕΠΑΚ), από τις 18:00 έως τις 21:00 μ.μ.
Σημαντική θα είναι η παρουσία της Αναπληρώτριας Μόνιμης Γραμματέως του Υφυπουργείου Ναυτιλίας, Κας Ηλιάνας Χαραλάμπους.
Η τελική εκδήλωση περιλαμβάνει παρουσιάσεις από όλους τους εταίρους του STEAM που συνοψίζουν σημαντικά αποτελέσματα, βελτιώσεις και επιτεύγματα του έργου.
Το STEAM (Sea traffic Management at the Eastern Mediterranean-Διαχείριση της θαλάσσιας κυκλοφορίας στην Ανατολική Μεσόγειο) είναι ένα τριετές έργο που ξεκίνησε τον Ιανουάριο του 2019 με προϋπολογισμό περίπου 1 εκατ. ευρώ. Το έργο συντονίζεται από το Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (ΤΕΠΑΚ) με τα Ερευνητικά Ινστιτούτα της Σουηδίας (RISE) να συμμετέχουν στο έργο ως ξένος ερευνητικός οργανισμός. Επιπλέον, η κοινοπραξία STEAM αποτελείται από την Αρχή Λιμένων Κύπρου (Cyprus Port Authority), τον Κυπριακό Σύνδεσμο Ναυτιλίας (Cyprus Shipping Association) και τις ιδιωτικές εταιρείες Tototheo Maritime, A.T. DeLevant Business Solutions και Cyprus Subsea Consulting and Services.
Επίσης, πολύ σημαντική είναι η συμμετοχή καθιερωμένων φορέων του κυπριακού ναυτιλιακού τομέα, όπως το Κυπριακό Ναυτιλιακό Επιμελητήριο, το Ναυτιλιακό Ινστιτούτο Ανατολικής Μεσογείου (Mar.In.E.M.) και οι ιδιωτικές εταιρείες που διαχειρίζονται σήμερα τις τερματικές λειτουργίες στο λιμάνι της Λεμεσού: DP WORLD Limassol, EUROGATE Limassol Container Terminal και P&O Maritime.
