The event will gather a broad spectrum of academics, policymakers and stakeholders to discuss the ethical questions raised by recent developments in gene editing, such as CRISPR-Cas9, across different fields of application (health, biotechnology, etc.). It will provide a forum for dialogue, and will feed directly into the preparation of the EGE’s Opinion and recommendations.
The participants of the workshop "Next Generation Internet of Things" organized by the European Commission will discuss research and innovation actions as well as possible policy measures to be taken at EU level. The workshop addresses researchers, industry, application developers and start-ups.
The aim of the conference is to bring together experts, professionals, researchers, policy makers and industry to provide direction and inspiration for the planning and implementation of specific seas and ocean-related activities and initiatives in Horizon Europe, and notably the Mission Area Healthy Oceans, Seas, Coastal and Inland Waters.
