On 28 January 2022, the Commission launched the stakeholder community of practice to co-create a code of practice for the smart use of Intellectual Property (IP), as part of the European Research Area Policy Agenda “Upgrade EU guidance for a better knowledge valorisation”.
On 26 January, the European Commission appointed the 15 new members of the new European Group on Ethics in Science and New Technologies (EGE).
The members of the Board will advise the European Commission on what actions are needed to restore and protect soils as well as how we can reap the many societal and economy benefits of healthy soils. Apply by the 2nd of February.
The new European Biodiversity Partnership Biodiversa+, co-funded by the European Union, brings together 74 research programmes and funders and environmental policy actors from Europe and beyond to help put nature back on a path of recovery.
The first Twinning call under Horizon Europe closed on the 18th of January. This was the most ambitious Twinning call to date and it generated significant interest for EU research funding.
