Bosnia and Herzegovina join the Horizon Europe programme

Following the joint signatures of Commissioner Gabriel and Minister Ankica Gudeljevic, Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the exchange of required Notes Verbales, the Horizon Europe Association Agreement with Bosnia and Herzegovina became provisionally applicable on 11 January 2022.

Albania completes the Western Balkans association to Horizon Europe

Evis Kushi, Minister of Education and Sports of Albania signed, alongside Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, their Association Agreements to the Horizon Europe programme.
