In this report, the expert group recommends that the European Innovation Council (EIC) creates two ambitious deep-tech training programmes - the Trailblazer and the Pioneer - to foster technological solutions and realise human entrepreneurial talent.
On World Health Day we highlighted some of the projects that we have supported in the field of health research and innovation.
The 23 projects involve at least 2 SMES from 2 different European countries and sectors (digital or aerospace technologies applied to maritime sectors) and address at least one of the 22 “blue growth” challenges in the following domains: smart port, smart ship, smart shipyard and maritime surveillance.

The EU-funded project Act!onHeat has launched its first call for applications for technical advisory services. Open until 29 April 2022, it will provide municipalities with support in the development of high quality strategic heating and cooling plans based on the Hotmaps and THERMOS tools, previously developed within the Horizon 2020 programme.
