Projects for Policy (P4P) Platform Launched The European Commission has launched a new initiative, called Projects for Policy (P4P), aimed at using the results of EU-funded research and innovation projects to shape policymaking.

The Projects for Policy (P4P) platform gathers the results of previously funded FP7 projects, which can help to further shape EU policies in selected areas in line with the European Commission's commitment to evidence-based policymaking and exploiting valuable research and innovation results to their full potential.

Commission welcomes ambitious agreement on first ever EU legislation to monitor and report CO2 emissions from heavy-duty vehicles

Representatives from the European Parliament and the Council reached 26 March 2018 a provisional agreement on the Regulation for monitoring and reporting CO2 emissions and fuel consumption data from new heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs), i.e. lorries, buses and coaches.
