According to the Future of Jobs Report 2020, the World Economic Forum has projected an increased talent to fill jobs in technology and green economy roles.
The Commission publishes the results for the open public consultation on the Data Act, the upcoming flagship initiative of the European Data Strategy.
This year the ERC received 358 applications. In total, 1,192 principal investigators from 1,041 host institutions applied. An average proposed project involves three principal investigators and has a budget of about €9 million. The highest number of principal investigators comes from German (154) and British (147) institutions.
The Commission has published the results of the public consultation on a set of digital principles. The results show broad support for the proposed EU values in the digital space. These principles range from high-speed internet for all, full access to digital skills and education, making sure that children and young people are protected online, to an open, secure and trusted online environment.
