The European Research Council has announced today the nine finalists of its Public Engagement with Research Award. Voting has opened to choose the public’s preferred candidate from among the finalists.
EU funded research and innovation strives to reverse biodiversity loss and contribute to nature restoration
The Commission announced today the three finalists of the first Industry 5.0 Award. The award recognises EU-funded projects whose results make European industry more resilient, sustainable, and human-centric. The projects selected are: RAMP-PV, SECOIIA and SHERLOCK. The winner will be announced during the R&I Days 2022 on 28 September.
The Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) Joint Undertaking has launched its first calls for proposals, with topics on cancer, cardiovascular diseases and neurodegenerative diseases, as well as on cross-cutting issues such as the use of health data and early stage studies of medical devices. IHI is a public-private partnership between the EU and several health industry associations. IHI projects are funded jointly by the EU (from Horizon Europe budget) and by the private partners who bring mostly in-kind contributions.
A new call/invitation to submit a proposal under the Standardisation strand of the SMP was launched on 30 June 2022, with deadline for applications on 27 September 2022. A total budget of €4.9 million is available for 4 topics.
