Frederick University: Great success of the Pharmaceutical Programme with significant recognition by the EU

Following the approval of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, the European Commission's Directorate-General for the Internal Market, Industry, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (DG GROW) has included the Frederick University Pharmaceutical Programme in Directive 2005/36 / EC of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union, concerning the recognition of Professional Qualifications.

Thus, official professional recognition of the programme is provided in the European Union, as it satisfies all the provisions in terms of content, duration and the ratio of theoretical / practical training. As a result, Frederick University Pharmacy graduates will be able to practice the profession in any Member State of the European Union.

The Department of Pharmacy of the School of Health Sciences at Frederick University was founded in 2012 and is a member of the European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy (EAFP) and the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). The Degree in Pharmacy from Frederick University is the first University-level Pharmacy Programme to be evaluated and certified in Cyprus by the competent body of the Republic of Cyprus. The Program is based on the European Legislation 2005/36 / EC, Annex II of Law 178 (I) / 2002, and the European Directives 85/432 / EC and 85/433 / EC, and meets the necessary conditions for the registration of graduates as pharmacists in the Cyprus Pharmaceutical Council. Provides high quality training to prepare professional pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists, with knowledge, skills and abilities for successful professional or public practice.

Frederick University: Μεγάλη επιτυχία του Προγράμματος Φαρμακευτικής με σημαντική αναγνώριση από την ΕΕ

Μετά από έγκριση του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου και του Συμβουλίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, η Γενική Διεύθυνση Εσωτερικής Αγοράς, Βιομηχανίας, Μικρομεσαίων Επιχειρήσεων και Επιχειρηματικότητας (DG GROW) της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής έχει συμπεριλάβει το Πρόγραμμα Φαρμακευτικής του Πανεπιστημίου Frederick στην Οδηγία 2005/36/ΕΚ του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου και του Συμβουλίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, που αφορά την αναγνώριση των Επαγγελματικών Προσόντων. Παρέχεται έτσι και επίσημα επαγγελματική αναγνώριση του προγράμματος στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, καθώς ικανοποιεί όλες τις πρόνοιες ως προς το περιεχόμενο, τη χρονική διάρκεια και την αναλογία θεωρητικής/πρακτικής άσκησης. Ως εκ τούτου, οι απόφοιτοι/ες Φαρμακευτικής του Πανεπιστημίου Frederick θα μπορούν να ασκήσουν το επάγγελμα σε οποιοδήποτε κράτος μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.

Το Τμήμα Φαρμακευτικής της Σχολής Επιστημών Υγείας του Πανεπιστημίου Frederick ιδρύθηκε το 2012 και είναι μέλος του European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy (ΕΑFP) και του International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP). Το Πτυχίο Φαρμακευτικής του Πανεπιστημίου Frederick είναι το πρώτο  Πρόγραμμα Φαρμακευτικής πανεπιστημιακού επιπέδου που αξιολογήθηκε και πιστοποιήθηκε στην Κύπρο από τον αρμόδιο φορέα της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας. Το Πρόγραμμα βασίζεται στην Ευρωπαϊκή Νομοθεσία 2005/36/ΕK, το Παράρτημα II του Νόμου 178(I)/2002, και στις Ευρωπαϊκές Οδηγίες 85/432/EK και 85/433/EK, και πληροί τις απαραίτητες προϋποθέσεις για να εγγράφονται οι απόφοιτοί του ως φαρμακοποιοί στο Συμβούλιο Φαρμακευτικής Κύπρου. Παρέχει υψηλού επιπέδου εκπαίδευση για την προετοιμασία επαγγελματιών φαρμακοποιών και επιστημόνων ειδικών στον τομέα φαρμάκων, με γνώσεις, ικανότητες και δεξιότητες για επιτυχή επαγγελματική ενασχόληση στον ιδιωτικό ή τον δημόσιο τομέα.
