Launch Conference Of The Erasmus+ App: Your Erasmus+, Now At Your Fingertips

On 21 September there was the launch of the new Erasmus+ App. The updated app has a host of new features that students have been waiting for. The app makes it easier than ever for students to apply for an Erasmus+ mobility abroad, by connecting them to all the key digital services they need to apply: from the choice of university to the online learning agreement. It guides students through each step before, during and after their experience and helps them check every administrative procedure on their mobility checklist.

Responding to a new need

Since the beginning of the pandemic, higher education institutions have had to adapt in many ways to show resilience in the face of the challenges posed by COVID-19. Digital tools empowered students from across the EU to have a high-level education. But what happens with mobilities?

In many EU member states, COVID-19 measures meant that lessons took place online, which impacted one of the most enriching experiences that students could have: Erasmus+ mobilities.

For this reason, the European Commission started to work with key partners (Eötvös Loránd University; the European University Foundation; the Erasmus Student Network; the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki; EWORX) to transform this challenge into an opportunity. The result is the Erasmus+ App!

The Erasmus+ App has the prospect of evolving student mobility in a  groundbreaking way! The possibility of completing all the admin procedures via an App and to focus on what really matters is something students have long been waiting for!
