The Open University of Cyprus (OUC) participates in the EU_CUL project "Exploring European Cultural Heritage for fostering academic teaching and social responsibility in Higher Education, with final Conference "Cultural Heritage for Social Responsibility: Bridging Universities and Communities"

The International and Interdisciplinary Conference "Cultural Heritage for Social Responsibility: Bridging Universities and Communities" to be held on August 31-September 2, 2021, is organised in the context of the EU_CUL project ("Exploring European Cultural Heritage for fostering academic teaching and social responsibility in Higher Education", which is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.

The Open University of Cyprus is partner in the consortium implementing the project, and Associate Professor Maria Gravani (academic coordinator of the MA Programme in "Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning") and Dr. Eleni Papaioannou are members of the Conference's Scientific Committee.

The conference will be the meeting place for practitioners and researchers, representatives of universities and local communities, and – in particular – local governments that manage cultural heritage.

The Call for Papers has been announced, and will expire on July 21, 2021.

Το Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (ΑΠΚΥ) συμμετέχει στο ερευνητικό έργο EU-CUL "Exploring European Cultural Heritage for fostering academic teaching and social responsibility in Higher Education" το τελικό συνέδριο του οποίου έχει με θέμα "Cultural Heritage for Social Responsibility: Bridging Universities and Communities

Το διεθνές διεπιστημονικό Συνέδριο με θέμα "Cultural Heritage for Social Responsibility: Bridging Universities and Communities" θα πραγματοποιηθεί από τις 31 Αυγούστου εως τις 2 Σεπτεμβρίου 2021, χρηματοδοτείται από το (Erasmus+).

Το Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (ΑΠΚΥ) είναι εταίρος στη κοινοπραξία   συμμετέχοντας στο ερευνητικό έργο.  Στο ερευνητικό έργο και στην Επιστημονική Επιτροπή του Συνεδρίου συμμετέχουν η Μαρία Γραβάνη, Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια και Ακαδημαϊκή Υπεύθυνη στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών « Συνεχιζόμενη Εκπαίδευση & δια βίου μάθηση» του ΑΠΚΥ και η Δρ. Ελένη Παπαϊωάννου, μέλη της Επιστημονικής Επιτροπής του Συνεδρίου.

Το συνέδριο θα είναι τόπος συνάντησης επαγγελματιών και ερευνητών, εκπροσώπων πανεπιστημίων και τοπικών κοινοτήτων, και - ιδίως - τοπικών φορέων που διαχειρίζονται την πολιτιστική κληρονομιά.

Το Call For Papers έχει ήδη δημοσιευθεί και ο κάθε ενδιαφερόμενος μπορεί να υποβάλει το abstract του έως τις 21/07/2021.
