THE DAISSY RESEARCH TEAM OF THE HELLENIC OPEN UNIVERSITY (HOU) PARTICIPATES IN THE PROJECT: “CRAL – CREATIVE AUDIOVISUAL LAB FOR THE PROMOTION OF CRITICAL THINKING & MEDIA LITERACY”
The DAISSy Research Team of the Hellenic Open University (HOU) participates in the project (CRAL) Creative Audiovisual Lab for the promotion of critical thinking and media literacy (CrAL), representing Greece.
The duration of the project is three years and is co-financed by the Erasmus+ / KA3 / Social inclusion Programme in the fields of education, training and youth of the European Union.
The CrAL project is aimed at young people (aged 14-19) and empowers them so that they can reinterpret and lead the production of audiovisual content. Secondary school teachers and trainers working in non-formal settings will be taught how to train their students in the creative audiovisual reading, writing and production to enhance their digital media and critical skills.
The project will facilitate the acquisition of basic and digital skills among students such as active communication, collaboration, creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and self-confidence. It will also promote the social inclusion of disadvantaged groups. Young people will become active creators of solutions to social challenges, while people from disadvantaged groups (e.g., first and second generation immigrant students) will be supported in their social inclusion and value.

Η ΕΡΕΥΝΗΤΙΚΗ ΟΜΑΔΑ DAISSY ΤΟΥ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΟΥ ΑΝΟΙΚΤΟΥ ΠΑΝΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΙΟΥ (ΕΑΠ) ΣΥΜΜΕΤΕΧΕΙ ΣΤΟ ΕΡΓΟ: “CRAL – CREATIVE AUDIOVISUAL LAB FOR THE PROMOTION OF CRITICAL THINKING & MEDIA LITERACY”
Η Eρευνητική Oμάδα DAISSy του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου (ΕΑΠ) συμμετέχει στο έργο “Creative Audiovisual Lab for the promotion of critical thinking and media literacy” (CrAL) εκπροσωπώντας την Ελλάδα. Το έργο είναι τριετές και συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Πρόγραμμα Erasmus+/KA3/ Social inclusion in the fields of education, training and youth της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.
Το έργο Cral απευθύνεται σε νέους και νέες (ηλικίας 14-19 ετών) και τους/τις ενισχύει ώστε να μπορούν να ερμηνεύσουν εκ νέου και να ηγηθούν της παραγωγής οπτικοακουστικού περιεχομένου. Οι δάσκαλοι/ες και οι εκπαιδευτές/τριες της δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης που εργάζονται σε μη τυπικά περιβάλλοντα θα διδαχθούν πώς να εκπαιδεύσουν τους μαθητές και τις μαθήτριές τους στη δημιουργική οπτικοακουστική ανάγνωση, γραφή και παραγωγή για την ενίσχυση των δεξιοτήτων τους στα ψηφιακά μέσα ενημέρωσης και την κριτική σκέψη.
Το έργο θα διευκολύνει την απόκτηση βασικών και ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων μεταξύ των μαθητών/τριων, όπως ενεργή επικοινωνία, συνεργασία, δημιουργικότητα, επίλυση προβλημάτων, κριτική σκέψη και αυτοπεποίθηση. Θα προωθήσει επίσης την κοινωνική ένταξη μειονεκτουσών ομάδων. Τα νέα άτομα θα γίνουν ενεργοί/ες δημιουργοί λύσεων για την αντιμετώπιση κοινωνικών προκλήσεων, ενώ τα άτομα από μειονεκτούσες ομάδες (π.χ., μετανάστες μαθητές/τριες πρώτης και δεύτερης γενιάς) θα υποστηριχθούν στην κοινωνική τους ένταξη και αξία.
