OPEN CALL FOR LASER-BASE TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS

The Digital Innovation Hub PULSATE has launched an open call for proposals in the field of Laser-Based Advanced Additive Manufacturing (LBAAM) technologies.

PULSATE targets the greatest impact on potential manufacturing sectors accounting from those with a solid track of use of LBAAM technologies and also from those currently underrepresented: aerospace (aeronautics), automotive, medical devices, industrial machinery, customised electronics and textile & clothing.

The latest call has made €1.5 million in funding available to SMEs to undertake experiments on:

  • Laser equipment integration, interoperability, and robust automation,
  • Technology for cost-effective laser-based manufacturing,
  • First part right and zero-defect laser-based production,
  • Flexible technology for small to large batches;
  • From CAD to PLM: data integration and flow

Selected experiments will become part of the 13-month PULSATE Support Programme. Expected benefits for selected Technology Transfer Experiments include:

  • Technical support from industry experts.
  • Business development support.
  • Up to €150,000 funding per experiment.
