Leading European cities join forces to procure breakthrough Artificial Intelligence solutions to become climate neutral

Europe's leading climate cities (Copenhagen, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Paris, Tallinn, Stavanger) are starting the AI4CITIES pre-commercial procurement project.

Their aim is to procure together the development of breakthrough AI solutions that can accelerate the Cities’ transition to carbon neutrality. This is done in cooperation with a wider group of peers (Barcelona, Budapest, Egaleo, Lamia, Istanbul, Milan, Porto, Eurocities, Open and agile cities). The focus is on AI solutions for smart mobility and energy, as these two areas represent 24% resp. 58% of GHG emissions in cities.
